University of Minnesota freshman Gable Steveson has shot to the top of the national rankings with a 20-0 start to his collegiate career, and another high-profile veteran of the program stopped by to drill with the ascendant star: Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.
The Beast Incarnate, whose career as a Gopher helped him catch the eye of WWE talent scouts almost twenty years ago, sparred with the top-ranked heavyweight earlier today, as shown in a video posted by the team’s official Twitter account. The clip is a short glimpse of The Conqueror helping Steveson hone his cradles, but it’s impressive nonetheless, with two very apparent takeaways: Lesnar’s still got the speed, and Steveson is right there with him.
Could there be a better training partner for @GSteveson than @DCBROCKLESNAR ❓ #GopherTough #GopherFamily pic.twitter.com/X7YKlc4Kzb
