For more than a decade, Disneyland Resort has honored Black heritage, culture, and creativity through its annual Celebrate Soulfully offerings, and in 2026, the tradition continues in a powerful way. This February, the beloved Celebrate Gospel concert series returns with two legendary voices at the center of the celebration: Bishop Hezekiah Walker and Yolanda Adams.

As part of Disneyland Resort’s broader Celebrate Soulfully experiences in honor of Black History Month, Celebrate Gospel will take place across two weekends, February 20–21 and February 27–28, marking a meaningful evolution for the event with a new location at the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage. For the first time, these uplifting concerts will be fully accessible without park admission, welcoming all guests to experience the joy, inspiration, and community spirit that gospel music brings.
A Beloved Tradition, Reimagined for Downtown Disney
Celebrate Gospel has long been a cornerstone of Black History Month at Disneyland Resort, and the move to Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage expands its reach while maintaining the heart of the event. Each Saturday night will feature Grammy Award–winning headliners alongside community choirs from across Southern California, creating a space where worship, celebration, and cultural pride come together.
- Saturday, February 21 – Bishop Hezekiah Walker
- Saturday, February 28 – Yolanda Adams
These performances continue Celebrate Gospel’s mission of uplifting audiences through soul-stirring music while honoring the roots and influence of gospel traditions.
Celebrate Soulfully Expands Across the Resort
Beyond the concert stage, Celebrate Soulfully weaves Black heritage and storytelling throughout Disneyland Resort all month long. From February 1 through February 28, guests can experience limited-time food, entertainment, and artistic tributes that reflect the impact of Black leaders, artists, and innovators.

New for 2026, a Heritage Trail debuts across the resort featuring dynamic displays honoring influential figures from past and present. These installations spotlight individuals who shaped culture, entertainment, science, and storytelling, including:
- Leah Chase and Ron Husband in New Orleans Square
- Martha Blanding, Frederick Douglass, and Scott Joplin on Main Street, U.S.A.
- Floyd Norman on Buena Vista Street
- Guion S. Bluford Jr. in Tomorrowland
- Nikkolas Smith at the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage
Each display invites guests to pause, reflect, and learn how these trailblazers helped influence generations.
Food That Honors History and Flavor

Celebrate Soulfully also comes to life through food inspired by Black culinary traditions. This year’s limited-time offerings include:

- French Quarter Fried Chicken Bowl – Spicy honey-glazed fried chicken with baked macaroni and cheese and collard greens

Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining (Disney California Adventure Park)

These dishes continue the celebration beyond the stage, honoring storytelling through flavor.
