There’s some exciting news regarding upcoming episodes of Ring of Honor Wrestling.

If you missed Final Battle: End of an Era last month or just want to relive some of the action,
select matches from the historic pay-per-view will air on free broadcast television the weekends of Jan. 22 and Jan. 29.

Also, there will be some major announcements forthcoming in regard to the ROH TV episodes in February and the first week of Match.

Stay tuned.

ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham is scheduled for two title defenses this weekend.

Gresham takes on former WWE, WCW and ECW star 2 Cold Scorpio at the Game Changer Wrestling event on Saturday in Hoffman Estates, Ill.

On Sunday, Gresham (if he is still champion) will defend the title against former Impact World Champion Josh Alexander on the Terminus debut show in Atlanta.

Also on the Terminus show, Bandido – who still has possession of the current ROH World Championship belt (Gresham has the original ROH World Title belt) – will defend his title against independent star Baron Black.

ROH continues to have a strong presence in Impact Wrestling.

Gresham, who successfully defended his title against Chris Sabin at Impact’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view last week, will put the belt on the line against Steve Maclin on next Thursday’s episode of Impact (if Gresham is still champion after this weekend).

In case you missed it, Rok-C lost the ROH Women’s World Title to Deonna Purrazzo on last night’s Impact. Purrazzo’s AAA Reina de Reinas Championship also was at stake in the winner-take-all match.

Meanwhile, ROH stars Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, PCO, Vincent and former ROH Board of Directors member Maria Kanellis-Bennett continue to wreak havoc in Impact.

After the team of Heath, Rhino, Rich Swann, Willie Mack and Eddie Edwards won the Hardcore War match at Hard To Kill, Taven, Bennett, PCO and Vincent stormed the ring and laid them out with a brutal assault. Kanellis-Bennett entered the ring and stood triumphant with the ROH group.

On last night’s Impact, the ROH contingent stuck early and often. They attacked color commentator D’Lo Brown at the beginning of the show and laid out Edwards, Heath and Rhino backstage.

After Purrazzo defeated Rok-C in the main event, Kanellis-Bennett confronted her. Kanellis-Bennett’s ROH cohorts then surrounded Purrazzo.

Matthew Rehwoldt, an associate of Purrazzo, left the commentary table to defend her, but he was beaten down. Swann and Mack tried to make the save but they also were laid out.

The ROH Board of Directors issued the following statement to ROHWrestling.com:

“Ring of Honor Wrestling has not authorized and does not condone the actions of Maria Kanellis-Bennett, Mike Bennett, PCO, Matt Taven and Vincent on Impact Wrestling’s programs.”

Reminder: This weekend’s episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling takes viewers behind-the-scenes of last summer’s critically acclaimed ROH Women’s World Title Tournament.

The captivating documentary features an up-close-and-personal look at the stars of ROH’s women’s division and chronicles the tournament from start to finish.

I’ve watched the show and strongly recommend it.
