Ethan Page Puts Over Professionalism Of IMPACT Wrestling As He Tests Free Agency Waters

December 12, 2020

Ethan Page’s contract status has been quite the talk around IMPACT Wrestling for a while. The member of The North is set to become a free agent at the start of the new year and “All Ego” looks set to become a hot free agent as soon as that contract expires.

Page had a chance to talk to Sports Illustrated where the next move for his career came up. He put over Impact’s professionalism for allowing him to talk to other companies in what seems to be a lame duck period for his contract. He specifically mentioned them “handling this in an extremely professional manner” but he has said that whether or not he stays with Impact will depend on how much they value him as a star.

“Impact has been amazing. They’re allowing me the opportunity to chat with other companies, and they’re handling this in an extremely professional manner. I’m open to chatting with other people, but my interest is hearing how Impact values me and what they’re willing to offer.”

Page has really shot up in value over the last year, and it’s no secret AEW has interest in Ethan Page. However, for fans looking to see The North become All Elite, they might have to wait. Josh Alexander still has time on his Impact contract so it could be a while before they team up again if Page leaves Impact.
