On a must-see edition of NXT UK, Emilia McKenzie, Xia Brookside, Dani Luna, Jinny and Isla Dawn will collide in what is certain to be an edge-of-your-seat Gauntlet Match to determine the No. 1 Contender to NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray.
Of course, it’s fair to wonder whether Brookside will be cleared to compete after she was savagely attacked in the backstage area last week by Amale, who rendered her newfound enemy nearly unconscious before the fracas was finally broken up by officials.
The 20-year-old McKenzie, who recently returned to NXT UK, recently teamed with Meiko Satomura to score an eye-opening tag team victory over Ray and Dawn, but how will the relatively inexperienced competitor fare in the wildly unpredictable environment that a Gauntlet Match presents?
In recent weeks, Dawn has displayed an unsettling new persona and a willingness to break the rules, which were both on display during her recent singles win against McKenzie.
Luna seems to have a new pep in her step ever since linking up with Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster to form Subculture and is seeking the biggest win of her career and first-ever championship bout.
Jinny came up just short in her title match against Ray several months ago, but the devious Fashionista is certain to bring a calculated game plan to the multi-Superstar melee.
NXT UK will also play host to a Heritage Cup Rules Match between Nathan Frazer and Noam Dar following a verbal confrontation on “Supernova Sessions” last week.
Sha Samuels challenged Frazer to the match on Dar’s behalf, setting the stage for a hard-hitting bout between Frazer and The Scottish Supernova.
Additionally, Mark Andrews of the newly formed Subculture is set to tangle with Levi Muir.
Don’t miss a thrilling NXT UK, streaming at 3 p.m. ET/8 p.m. BST on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else!
