Much to the delight of the fans taking over Memphis’s famous Beale Street, Lawler predicted that the 24th-ranked Memphis Tigers would defeat the 15th-ranked SMU Mustangs in Saturday night’s contest at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.

GameDay panelist Lee Corso disagreed, instead picking SMU — but had to deal with the consequences from The King.
