One classic rivalry has already been renewed for WWE Super Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia. Now, it has been confirmed that the Melbourne Cricket Ground will play host to another.
John Cena and Kevin Owens will clash at the historic event on Saturday, Oct. 6, marking the first time the two have battled one-on-one since their thrilling three-match series in 2015. Owens, then the NXT Champion, made his mark at WWE Elimination Chamber by defeating then-United States Champion Cena in a Champion vs. Champion Match that was named one of WWE.com’s favorite matches of 2015. Cena evened the score in the second contest at WWE Money in the Bank and ended up taking the rubber match at WWE Battleground, in which The Cenation Leader’s United States Championship was at stake.
Cena and Owens join an event that has already includes The Undertaker battling Triple H for the very last time. Tickets for WWE Super Show-Down are available now via ticketek.com.au. Further information is available at tegdainty.com. The event will stream live on the award-winning WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view around the world.
