After dominating the Pure division for a year, former Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham recently announced that he was setting his sights on becoming ROH World Champion.
To move into the top 3 in the World Title rankings (and thus be eligible to receive a title shot), “The Octopus” will have to get past a huge obstacle in the form of Brody King.
The first-time ever meeting will go down at Honor For All, an HonorClub exclusive, on Sunday, Nov. 14.
The stakes are high for King as well, as he’s currently the No. 1 contender for the ROH World Title and does not want to lose the top spot in the rankings.
The matchup is a classic contrast in styles, as it pits an outstanding technical wrestler in Gresham against a big man who is as agile as he is powerful in King.
It’s also another chapter in the ongoing faction war between Gresham’s Foundation and King’s Violence Unlimited.
Will Gresham move a step closer to his goal of becoming ROH World Champion? Or will King squash Gresham’s dream and solidify his status as the top contender?
