This past January at Hard To Kill, Hammerstone made a bold statement when he arrived on the scene and took Josh Alexander to his limit in his debut match. But in the end, it was the “Walking Weapon” who stood tall in victory. Two months later at Sacrifice, Hammerstone returned to TNA Wrestling and evened the score in a hard-hitting rematch with Alexander, albeit in controversial fashion. Not only did Hammerstone break the rules with the use of a low blow, but he added insult to injury when he stole Alexander’s signature headgear after the match. Despite taunting Alexander at every turn, Hammerstone seemed disinterested in offering him another match. But things changed when Hammerstone was accused of being scared after refusing to answer Alexander’s open challenge. Hammerstone agreed to a rematch with Alexander but it would be on his terms. That is why on April 20th at Rebellion, Hammerstone and Josh Alexander will face off in a highly-anticipated rubber match to settle their rivalry once and for all.
