In the summer premiere of Miz & Mrs., Robert Irvine, one of the premiere chefs in the world, is coming to dinner. So, it’s off to Costco to get supplies and apparently a gigantic $900 wheel of cheese, which the A-List couple dub “Bertha.” But, alas, once they get it home, nether Miz nor Maryse can … wait for it … cut the cheese. Enter the chainsaw!
Meanwhile, technology does not seem to be Miz’s friend. Not only has Maryse utilized Miz’s mother-in-law Marjo as the voice in their GPS, but the former WWE Champion can’t get his wife to operate household electronics to his liking during a Facetime conversation. As a result, he decides to make a how-to electronics tutorial video for everyone in the house. But that does not go as well as he planned.
And then onto a cooking class: Bertha is in tow in the baby stroller, and Miz decides to buy a $1,500 grill to smoke stuff. Then, it’s a Miz vs. Maryse gnocchi-making competition. When Miz realizes his concoction tastes terrible, he eats it all so his wife won’t know! Back at the house, the competition continues, and it’s dinner party time. Moments after Miz gets caught switching his gnocchi for his wife’s as Irvine is about to judge their dishes, he realizes that he has set the giant cheese on fire outside on the smoker. Rest in Peace Bertha! And make way for Maryse’s delicious dinner that makes everything alright again.
