Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Luca Crusifino def. Jasper Troy & Shiloh Hill
The D’Angelo Family was in action as Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo teamed up with Luca Crusifino to take on Jasper Troy and the debuting Shiloh Hill.
The sheer size of Troy was evident and it threw off The Underboss at first, but Crusifino was able to control the pace once he and Hill became the legal Superstars.
Stacks and Crusifino utilized some tag team offense on Hill, but Troy once again leveled the playing field by using his raw power to toss Stacks across the ring.
In the end, a miscommunication doomed the newcomers as Hill became isolated and was promptly hit with a flapjack codebreaker to send The D’Angelo Family home happy.
Kendal Grey def. Izzi Dame
Former amateur wrestling standout Kendal Grey stunned the NXT Universe when she knocked off Izzi Dame to score her first-ever victory.
Dame tried to intimidate Grey to begin the match, but it didn’t work as the tough mat technician refused to back down from a battle.The imposing Dame hurled Grey around the ring, sending her into the turnbuckle on several occasions and appearing to injure the shoulder of the rookie.
Dame went for an innovative suplex, but it backfired as Grey locked in a picture-perfect backslide to pick up the win.
After the match, a furious Dame attacked Grey, only for Carlee Bright to hit the ring and provide aid to her tag team partner.
Andre Chase def. Lucien Price
It was Chase U against OTM as Andre Chase took on Lucien Price in singles action.
It marked Price’s first-ever singles bout in NXT and he showed out with his incredible blend of size, speed, and power.
Flanked only by Ridge Holland, Mr. Chase used his sneaky athleticism to knock Price out of the ring, but he had to hold Holland back from a creeping Bronco Nima.
The two highly talented Superstars traded blows before Chase countered a spear that saw Nima barrel face first into the steel ring post.
Chase quickly scaled the ropes and hit a mesmerizing crossbody, secured Nima’s limbs, and picked up the major win.
