Indi Hartwell def. Sloane Jacobs

Finally back to being herself, Indi Hartwell smiled from ear to ear before the bell, showed incredible poise and didn’t miss a beat in her clash with Sloane Jacobs.

Jacobs, who has two prior wins on NXT Level Up against Sierra St. Pierre and Thea Hail, staggered Hartwell with a menacing kick to the jaw and a crossbody from the middle rope.

Hartwell nevertheless shook off the punishment and dropped her foe with a ring-rattling spinebuster for the three-count.

Myles Borne def. Guru Raaj

Getting the first win out of the way is something that every WWE Superstar wants to do when they begin their voyage in sports-entertainment, though accomplishing the feat often proves to be easier said than done.

Take Myles Borne, for example. The energetic rookie has gone toe-to-toe with Superstars such as Andre Chase, Duke Hudson and Ikemen Jiro but remained winless heading into his bout against the fun-loving Guru Raaj, who defeated Borne in June.

Borne seemed to be in trouble when Raaj clobbered him with a double axe handle from the top rope for a two-count, but Borne showed impressive moxie by battling back and socking his opponent with a decisive flatliner. An equally happy and relieved Borne celebrated his moment with a standing backflip after the bell prior to helping Raaj to his feet and shaking his hand.

Fallon Henley & Sol Ruca def. Kiana James & Arianna Grace

With the mission statement of “shaping NXT in their vision,” Kiana James and Arianna Grace had a lot to prove against Fallon Henley and Sol Ruca, who were teaming together for the first time.

James and Grace didn’t hesitate to break the rules, as the illegal Grace yanked Ruca’s hair from the apron to give her partner the advantage.

Henley finally received a diving tag from the embattled Ruca, and Henley overwhelmed Grace with a series of strikes before pinning her with the Galloping Wizard.
