Xia Brookside & Dani Luna def. Nina Samuels & Amale
Nina Samuels & Amale struggled to get on the same page from the beginning, with Samuels even interrupting Amale’s entrance to soak up the spotlight. The infighting escalated throughout the bout until Samuels left the ring altogether, leaving The French Hope to fend for herself. Amale had little chance on her own, falling to a double-team Brooksy Bomb by Xia Brookside & Dani Luna.
Saxton Huxley def. Jack Starz
After showing grit last month in his loss to NXT United Kingdom Champion WALTER, Saxon Huxley was back with a vengeance. Jack Starz found a way to squirm out of an Argentine backbreaker, but Huxley dropped him moments later with a modified sidewalk slam for the win.
A-Kid def. Flash Morgan Webster in a Heritage Cup Opening Round Match
A-Kid dug deep for an impressive come-from-behind victory to vault to the second round of the Heritage Cup Tournament. Flash Morgan Webster seized a 1-0 advantage early in the second round after getting the better of a series of pinfall counters. He nearly squashed A-Kid’s dreams altogether in the next round as well, hitting a poison-rana, but he was unable to take advantage as time ran out.
A-Kid evened the tally at 1 following a massive Spanish Fly and huge thrust kick in Round 4 before claiming victory a round later, forcing Webster to submit to an armbar.
Kay Lee Ray’s “State of the Union” address turned into an all-out brawl
<!–
The NXT UK Women’s Champion didn’t make it far into her address before the BT Sport Studios erupted into complete chaos. After Kay Lee Ray derided the Women’s division, her competitors soon circled the ring with the onslaught initiated by Aoife Valkyrie. Any alliances quickly disintegrated, with KLR seemingly pleased to run into Jinny until The Fashionista blasted her with a right hand.
Valkyrie’s jaw-dropping leap from the top rope took out nearly everyone at ringside with the exception of Kay Lee Ray, leaving The Scary Queen of Scots to slither away with her title.
