ALL-ATLANTIC CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH…

Orange Cassidy(c) vs. “Big Shotty” Lee Johnson (w/ The Factory)

While that confrontation between The Factory, Jay Lethal’s camp, and The Best Friends unit took place prior to DYNAMITE on Wednesday, it set the stage for what is about to go down in Boston this Friday night. Trent Beretta may have gotten screwed over by the shenanigans of Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh on Wednesday, but the lesson needing to be taught is still not to mess with The Best Friends or friends of The Best Friends.

And it’s a lesson that The Factory needs to be taught after how they treated Danhausen, and it’s one “Big Shotty” Lee Johnson will have to face when he meets Orange Cassidy with the All-Atlantic Championship at stake! “Freshly Squeezed” has been a busy man since defeating “The Bastard” PAC, defending the title in two three-way contests as well as against the deadly Katsuyori Shibata last week in Atlantic City, and now he’s offering Lee Johnson the biggest opportunity he’s had since challenging Miro for the TNT Championship last year.

The big difference with “Big Shotty” from then to now is the presence of The Factory around ringside, and their propensity to try and sway the outcome of every match in which their lot is involved. Will that be the case this Friday night in Boston when Lee tires to bring The Factory its first championship? Or will OC be successful in this fourth championship defense in one month?

A JURASSIC EXPRESS FACE-TO-FACE

As Jack Perry said, Christian Cage and Luchasaurus may think their done with “Jungle Boy” but he is far from done with them. They’ve found a way to screw him over at every turn since Cage first betrayed their friendship, but it seems like Jack has one last idea swirling around in his head to try and make things right for the first time since Jurassic Express lost the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

What does “Jungle Boy” have in mind for this face-to-face confrontation with his former best friend and his former mentor? Tune into TNT this Friday night to see what the future holds for the men who once compromised Jurassic Express!

WORLD TITLE ELIMINATOR TOURNAMENT QUARTER-FINAL

“The Machine” Brian Cage vs. “Inhuman” Dante Martin

There could not be two more polar opposites in the AEW locker room than Dante Martin and Brian Cage; the styles they wrestle, their physical appearance, their general demeanor, from head-to-toe the only similarity between the two men is that both are among the elite professional wrestlers of the world with two of the strongest singles records in All Elite Wrestling.

Now, for the first time, this Friday night on RAMPAGE they will collide in singles competition in a Quarter-Final match in the Men’s World Title Eliminator Tournament! If styles truly make fights, this clash is going to be one to remember, but there is the question of just who the winner will face in the Semi-Finals. Ricky Starks and Lance Archer were supposed to collide in a Quarter-Final bout of their own, but “The Murderhawk Monster” made sure that didn’t happen, so what will that mean for the victor and the Semi-Finals?

WORLD TITLE ELIMINATOR TOURNAMENT QUARTER-FINAL

“El Toro Blanco” Rush (w/ Jose The Assistant) vs. Bandido

Several weeks ago, Bandido made a tremendous first impression on the AEW faithful when he challenged Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship, and although it was an unsuccessful challenge, it led the former ROH World Champion to a freshly inked AEW contract and spot among the greatest collection of professional wrestlers on the planet.

This Friday night, Bandido kicks off his official entry into the ranks of AEW with a Quarter-Final bout in the Men’s World Title Eliminator Tournament, and awaiting him in this bout is a very familiar face in another former ROH World Champion: “El Toro Blanco” Rush! These two men had a bit of a history in the annals of Ring of Honor, competing in a pair of singles matches with Rush taking the first match at the 17TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW in 2019 while Bandido took the rematch, and Rush’s ROH World Title, at BEST IN THE WORLD 2021.

So consider this the rubber match, and while a championship may not be on the line, the potential for an AEW World Championship match is at stake, and that’s something both men want to add to their resume. This one is sure to be a physical, show-stealing fight between two men hungry for championship gold, and whoever wins this one will meet “All Ego” Ethan Page in the Semi-Finals!

THE TBS CHAMPIONSHIP SITUATION

TBS Champion Jade Cargill has not had physical possession of her title belt in weeks, rather having to watch “The Native Beast” Nyla Rose walk around with it around her waist, showing it off at pre-show Meet & Greets, and posting pictures on social media as if she’s the true TBS Champion. Rose has even gone as far as to hold her own TBS Title Open Challenges which, although meaningless in terms of the championship, have just further rubbed the possession issue in Cargill’s face, and Nyla plans on having another one of this this Friday night on RAMPAGE!

Well it looks like Jade has reached her tipping point, that all of Nyla’s antics have finally gotten to the actual TBS Champion, and this Friday night Jade may just be coming to reclaim what is rightfully hers! Cargill has generally been a cool customer, never letting anything shake her, but the former AEW Women’s World Champion has completely knocked Jade off her game, and the TBS Champ just cannot hid it.

Will the champion finally reclaim the title belt that she’s worked so hard to keep for over 300 days and through fourteen successful defenses? Or will “The Native Beast” and her Vixens find another way to make it out of the arena with the title belt still in her camp?

This Friday night, the Agganis Arena is in-store for a big night as AEW draws closer to FULL GEAR 2022 on November 19th! The action on RAMPAGE begins at 10:00pm ET/9:00pm CT on TNT, as well as at AEWPlus.com for our international audiences, and features TWO World Title Eliminator Tournament Quarter-Finals, another title defense for All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy, and Jade Cargill on the hunt to reclaim her TBS Championship belt!
