Rascalz Earn NXT Tag Team Title Shot, Rosemary Torments Paxley, Grace Makes Historic Announcement on WWE NXT
After defeating his former friend, Wes Lee, at NXT No Mercy, new X-Division Champion Zachary Wentz joined forces with fellow Rascal Trey Miguel in a Triple Threat #1 Contenders match for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Their opponents: Gallus, and Hank and Tank Ledger. The match broke down during the closing moments, which saw the involvement of several NXT stars. The Rascalz would capitalize on the chaos, soaring with aerial offense to secure the victory. The stage has now been set! Next week on WWE NXT, Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel will challenge Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the NXT Tag Team Titles!
Later in the night, Wendy Choo summoned the terrifying Rosemary to do battle with Tatum Paxley. Despite Paxley’s wishes, Rosemary didn’t want to play with her, she wanted to fight. Rosemary punished Paxley in a chilling showdown but in the end, Paxley was able to overcome the onslaught to win. After the match, Rosemary and Choo would deliver a two-on-one assault to Paxley, until Lyra Valkyria evened the odds.
Meanwhile, Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace continued to make history when she announced that, for the first time ever, she will defend the TNA Knockouts World Championship in an open challenge next week on NXT!
