At Best in the World 2015, ROH World Television Champion Jay Lethal defeated ROH World Champion Jay Briscoe to become the first man to hold both titles at the same time. Lethal also became the first African American to win the ROH World Championship. Previously, Lethal was the first African American to win the ROH World Television Title and the first to win the Pure Title.
