Rob Van Dam is a former ECW, WWE and IMPACT Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion. However, RVD is most fondly remembered for what he accomplished in ECW years ago. The now defunct ECW is still vividly remembered by wrestling fans around the world. It was a salvation for many wrestling fans who were tired of the watered down wrestling they were currently getting each week. ECW was a place fans could escape. ECW called South Philly home at the then “ECW Arena” which also doubled as a bingo hall. The arena is now the 2300 Arena and hosts wrestling events and concerts.
IMPACT not only returns this coming week for several IMPACT TV Tapings, but we also return on June 8th for an IMPACT+ Special called “A Night You Can’t MIST” featuring the legendary Great Muta.
The action gets started this Friday and RVD returns home.
