After Trey Miguel was unable to compete at Turning Point due to travel complications, Zachary Wentz was tasked with finding a replacement to join forces with himself and KUSHIDA against TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys and Ace Austin. In a jaw-dropping turn of events, Matt Riddle was revealed as the replacement, marking his historic TNA Wrestling debut!
Meanwhile, after repeated interference from The System in the TNA World Championship match between Nic Nemeth and Eddie Edwards, John Layfield neutralized Brian Myers to even the playing field, allowing Nemeth to successfully retain his title. This comes after Layfield was seen entering The System’s locker room in a digital exclusive earlier this week.
