IMPACTWrestling.Com would like to congratulate the World Tag Team Champions, LAX on being named Tag Team of the Year in 2018. How can anyone deny Santana and Ortiz of this honor after the year that they had. It was incredible to see these two men perform and grow in 2018 and we can’t imagine what 2019 will have in store for both of them, who had this to say when we called to tell them the news.
Santana, “This is awesome and we worked really hard this year to prove to everyone that we are the best tag team in the world. Hard work, persistence and knowing what we can do drove us to where we stand right now.”
LAX are 3x World Tag Team Champions and earlier this year became the longest running World Tag Team Champions in IMPACT Wrestling history!
Ortiz added, “this is just the beginning. Wait until Homecoming and wait until you see what happens when we face The Lucha Bros! on Pay Per View in Nashville on January 6th!”
