The WWE Universe held its collective breath after NXT’s Tegan Nox went down with an injury to her left leg during a Mae Young Classic Quarterfinal Match against Rhea Ripley. The Welsh Superstar was unable to continue the match, resulting in her elimination from the tournament.
Though such a turn of events would be devastating for any Superstar, it’s particularly heartbreaking for Nox, who was forced to miss last year’s Mae Young Classic due to an ACL tear in her right knee.
No stranger to overcoming adversity, The Girl with The Shiniest Wizard showed her courageous spirit after the match streamed on WWE Network Wednesday night, tweeting an update on her condition as well as thanking friends, family and fans for the outpouring of support.
Well…that happened ? I may be out for a while but I cannot thank my friends and family for everything they’ve done the past few weeks and for all the kind words I’ve received, it genuinely warms my heart and gives me that extra ? to come back even better ????????? pic.twitter.com/1CzYBOGGrq

Though Nox conceded that it may be a while before she returns to action, there’s little doubt that when The Girl with The Shiniest Wizard soars back into the ring, she’ll have plenty of people cheering her on.
