You can’t keep The Girl with The Shiniest Wizard down.
Tegan Nox returned to action Thursday night for the first time since suffering a devastating knee injury in last year’s Mae Young Classic. The Welsh Superstar made her comeback at an NXT Live Event in Orlando, Fla.
Nox tore her MCL, LCL, ACL and both menisci in her left knee last August in a Mae Young Classic quarterfinal match against Rhea Ripley.
The setback was especially tragic given Nox had to miss much of the previous year due to an ACL tear in her right knee. That injury occurred shortly after she joined the WWE Performance Center in 2017 and prevented Nox from competing in the inaugural Mae Young Classic.
Commenting on her long-awaited return on social media, Nox tweeted her gratitude toward NXT fans for their support and simply captioned an Instagram photo, “I’m home! #FasterStrongerShinier”
The reactions to last night’s events made me make a smile that has been missing for a VERY long time! Thank you ?
