TNA Wrestling’s biggest pay-per-view event of the year, Bound For Glory, will take place at the Wayne State University Fieldhouse in Detroit, MI! 

The action kicks off on the Countdown to Bound For Glory presented by BLCKSMTH, streaming LIVE and FREE on TNA+ and TNA digital platforms.

We kick things off with a dazzling tag team showdown as Ash & Heather By Elegance battle Xia Brookside and NXT’s Brinley Reece! Ash sets up Heather for a double stomp off the apron, driving her boots into the back of Reece. Moments later, Reece creates separation with acrobatic offense out of the corner, taking down Heather. Reece makes the tag to Brookside, and the pace begins to quicken. Reece punches Ash into double knees from Brookside. Reece plants Heather with a TKO but The Personal Concierge puts her foot on the bottom rope. Brookside goes after him at ringside, but the distraction allows Heather to capitalize with a Spanish Fly. Ash puts Reece away with Rarified Air for three.

Eric Young inducts company co-founder, former pro wrestling journalist and online wrestling community pioneer, Bob Ryder, into the TNA Hall of Fame.

Pro wrestling veteran and Detroit-native Rhino is inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame by Tommy Dreamer.

The action continues with a Bound For Glory tradition, the Call Your Shot Gauntlet! The winner will receive a championship match of their choosing, any place, any time! Frankie Kazarian and Zachary Wentz kick things off. Jake Something is entrant #3. Wentz gets some backup as Trey Miguel enters at #4. Hammerstone is next at #5. Rohit Raju makes his TNA return at #6. Laredo Kid is entrant #7. Hammerstone eliminates Laredo Kid, followed by Trey Miguel. Sami Callihan is #8. Hammerstone is eliminated. Callihan spikes Raju with the Cactus Driver 97. John Skyler is entrant #9. Bhupinder Gujjar is #10. Trent Seven returns at #11. KC Navarro is next at #12 and wastes no time making an enemy out of Callihan. TNA Hall of Famer Rhino is in at #13, eliminating Raju, Skyler and Callihan. Tasha Steelz is #14 as she hits Navarro with a cutter. Léi Yǐng Lee is #15. Steelz is eliminated. Jason Hotch is entrant #16. Wentz blindsides Navarro with a dropkick for the elimination. #17 is Leon Slater. Jonathan Gresham is #18. Léi Yǐng Lee is eliminated. JDC is entrant #19. Slater hits Something with a Swanton 450 but JDC picks up the pieces to eliminate Slater. Seven takes out JDC with the Seven Star Lariat. The final entrant at #20 is A.J. Francis. Gresham is eliminated by Francis following a big boot. Francis hits Seven with the Down Payment for the elimination. Hotch is eliminated. Wentz eliminates Something with a modified Death Valley Driver. Something gets involved from the outside, allowing Francis to eliminate Wentz. Rhino Gores Kazarian. Rhino eliminates JDC. Francis delivers his own Gore to Rhino but Rhino turns it around for the elimination. Rhino and Kazarian are the final two, this match will now end by pinfall or submission. Kazarian tosses the referee to the side, then low blows Rhino to score the victory.

Bound For Glory is on the air!

Bound For Glory begins with an epic clash for the X-Division Championship as Mike Bailey defends against Vikingo! Vikingo appears to have tweaked his right knee in the early going. Vikingo hits a springboard missile dropkick before the fight spills to the floor. Vikingo walks the guardrails, then hits a head scissors off the barricade. Both men collide in the middle of the ring as Bailey connects with the Green Tea Plunge. Bailey soars with the Shooting Star for two. Bailey connects with the Crane Kick, followed by double knees. Bailey hits Ultima Weapon but it’s not enough to keep Vikingo down. Moments later, Vikingo takes out Bailey on the floor with a corkscrew Moonsault. Vikingo leaps off the top of the ring post, connecting with a Destroyer on the apron. Bailey hits Meteor Rain to pin Vikingo, retaining the X-Division Championship.

The Knockouts World Tag Team Titles are on the line as Rosemary and NXT’s Wendy Choo challenge Sptfire! Wendy Choo uses her pillow to protect Rosemary. Threat steals the pillow and tosses it to the outside. Rosemary and Choo cut off the ring and employ quick tags to wear Threat down. Threat is finally able to tag in Luna, who almost puts Rosemary away with a powerbomb. Luna dives through the ropes, taking out Rosemary on the outside. Meanwhile, Choo assaults Threat on the other side of the ring. Rosemary and Choo spike Luna with a double DDT on the floor. Choo pulls Threat off the apron, preventing Luna from making the tag. Rosemary has Luna beat with the Spear but decides to punish her more. Luna turns the tide, hitting a double powerbomb out of the corner. Rosemary inadvertently strikes Choo, leading to a double German suplex from Threat. Spitfire put Choo away with the Pressure Drop to retain the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles.

After the match, Rosemary spears her own partner, Wendy Choo!

Gia Miller interviews the winner of tonight’s Call Your Shot Gauntlet and the Special Guest Referee for tonight’s TNA World Championship match, Frankie Kazarian. Kazarian vows to raise the hand of the real TNA World Champion tonight.

Josh Alexander goes one-on-one with Steve Maclin as Bound For Glory continues! Alexander’s allies in The Northern Armory are unable to be here due to travel issues. Maclin brings the fight to Alexander on the ramp during his entrance. In the ring, Alexander assaults Maclin with a series of German suplexes. Maclin turns it around as he delivers his own series of thudding suplexes. Alexander dumps him on the hardest part of the ring. Alexander erases Maclin off the apron with his signature running crossbody. Alexander inadvertently swings Maclin into the referee. While the referee is down, Alexander hits a low blow, then restrains Maclin with zip-ties. The referee tries to untie Maclin but he goes on the attack instead. Alexander is Caught in the Crosshairs, all while Maclin’s hands are zip-tied behind his back. Moments later, Alexander hits a Tombstone for two. Alexander secures an Ankle Lock but he can’t tap out. Maclin passes out, awarding the victory to Alexander.

PCO and Matt Cardona are unleashed in Monsters Ball for both the Digital Media and International Heavyweight Wrestling Championships! It doesn’t take long before PCO is assaulting Cardona with a trash can. Cardona gains momentum by dumping him back-first onto the steel steps. Back in the ring, PCO is back in control after sending him crashing through a door. PCO dives through the ropes but Cardona cuts him off in mid-air with a trash can. Cardona powerbombs PCO through another door, propped up by multiple steel chairs. Cardona pours thumbtacks into PCO’s mouth but PCO won’t stay down. Cardona connects with Radio Silence for two. Cardona goes low, then uses a baseball bat wrapped in green barbed-wire. PCO bounces back, chokeslamming him into a pile of thumbtacks, followed by the PCO-Sault. PCO pins Cardona to remain the Digital Media and International Heavyweight Wrestling Champion.

The personal showdown between Moose and Mike Santana happens now at Bound For Glory! Santana dives through the ropes but JDC takes the bullet for Moose. Moose capitalizes off the interference, powerbombing Santana in the apron. Moose distracts the referee, allowing JDC to send Santana crashing into the steel ring steps. Moose crashes and burns on a step-up crossbody attempt as Santana hits the Rolling Buck 50. Santana soars off the top rope, colliding with both Moose and JDC on the outside. Santana remains in control with a springboard Moonsault to the floor. Santana plants him in the corner with a Death Valley Driver, followed by a 450 Splash for two. Moose powerbombs Santana on the hardest part of the ring. Santana makes it back into the ring before the referee’s count of 10. JDC tries to attack Santana with a steel chain but Santana takes him out with Spin the Block. Moose spears Santana for a very close near fall. Moments later, Santana turns the tide and hits Moose with Spin the Block to win.

Masha Slamovich challenges Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts World Championship in the first of three main events tonight! Slamovich dives through the ropes, dropping Grace on the outside. Moments later, Grace turns the tide with a foot stomp on the apron. In the ring, Slamovich hits a spinning heel kick for two. Slamovich locks in a choke but Grace transitions into a Jackhammer for a two count of her own. Grace hits the Vader Bomb out of the corner but Slamovich rolls out of the way. Slamovich picks Grace off the top with a pair of head scissors, then hits the Snow Plow for another near fall. Grace pulls out the Kryptonite Crunch, shades of Jerry Lynn. Slamovich buonces back with a Burning Hammer but Grace bridges out before the referee’s three count. Slamovich kicks out of the Juggernaut Driver from Grace, leading to a Stretch Muffler submission. Moments later, Slamovich hits a Snow Plow off the top rope, followed by a Piledriver to win. Masha Slamovich is the new Knockouts World Champion!

After the match, Slamovich and Grace embrace in the middle of the ring.

Ace Steel gives Joe Hendry one final pep talk ahead of his TNA World Championship opportunity tonight.

Bound For Glory’s Triple Main Event rolls on with Nic Nemeth vs. Joe Hendry for the TNA World Championship! Frankie Kazarian, who won the Call Your Shot Gauntlet earlier tonight, is the Special Guest Referee. Kazarian asserts his authority to both competitors in the early going. Hendry goes for the Standing Ovation but Nemeth counters into a sleeper. Hendry fights free and hits a pop-up powerbomb for two. Hendry secures an Ankle Lock but Nemeth makes it to the bottom rope. Hendry hits a thudding Fallaway Slam from the top rope. Kazarian is about to call his shot for a TNA World Title shot but Hendry stops him. Nemeth catches Hendry with a Famouser but Hendry kicks out, despite a fast count from Kazarian. Both men are down following a Hendry cutter on the apron. Kazarian once again tries to call his shot but this time it’s John Layfield who stops him with a Clothesline from Hell. At ringside, John Layfield delivers a second Clothesline from Hell to Hendry. Ryan Nemeth hops the guardrail to confront Layfield but he too gets taken out. Unaware of the interference, Nemeth hits Hendry with the Danger Zone. Another referee comes to the ring to make the count but Hendry kicks out at two. Nemeth counters the Standing Ovation into a superkick, followed by another Danger Zone to retain the TNA World Title.

TNA Wrestling presents its first event of 2025, Genesis, which will air live around the world on pay-per-view on Sunday, January 19, emanating from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, part of the Dallas Metroplex. The fallout from Genesis will kick off a LIVE episode of TNA’s flagship weekly TV show, iMPACT! on AXS TV and TNA+, on Thursday night, January 23 at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio.

The TNA World Tag Team Championship is up for grabs, literally, as The System defends against ABC and The Hardys in Full Metal Mayhem! It’s chaos from the opening bell as the fight spills into the crowd. Austin launches himself off of a raised seating area, sending Myers through a table. Moments later at ringside, Matt leaps off the top of a ladder, driving Edwards through a table. The Hardys hit bey with a double team Plot Twist. Bey delivers a double foot stomp to Matt, causing him to bounce off of a steel ladder. Jeff introduces a unique construction ladder into the match. The System sends The Hardys through a pair of tables with dueling Side Effects off the apron. ABC hit Myers with the 1, 2 Sweet onto a steel chair. Bey picks Edwards off a ladder with the Art of Finesse. Bey is hanging above the ring as Myers spears him down with a huge spear from the ladder. Jeff soars off the top of a ladder with a Swanton Bomb to Myers, into two tables. Alisha Edwards tries to get involved but Matt takes her out with a Twist of Fate. The Hardys powerbomb Edwards over the top rope through two tables on the outside. The Hardys climb the ladder and retrieve the titles to become the new TNA World Tag Team Champions!
