Tony D’Angelo will defend the NXT Heritage Cup against former Cup holder and current NXT Tag Team Champion Nathan Frazer.
Since losing the NXT Tag Team Title to Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin, D’Angelo and The Family turned their attention to the Heritage Cup, and D’Angelo defeated Charlie Dempsey for the storied trophy.
Frazer and Axiom later dethroned Breakker and Corbin and weren’t shy about reminding The D’Angelo Family about their history with the Heritage Cup.
