Wendy Choo & Rosemary Attack Jordynne Grace, Hammerstone Steps Up to Oba Femi & More on NXT
Jordynne Grace continued to make history when she defended the TNA Knockouts World Championship on NXT for the very first time.
Answering her open challenge was NXT’s Sol Ruca, who looked to ride her recent wave of momentum all the way to the Knockouts World Title. However, neither competitor would stand tall when Grace was attacked by Wendy Choo and her newest disciple, Rosemary, bringing an abrupt end to the match! Choo sent an ominous warning to Grace last Thursday on iMPACT! and didn’t wait long to make her mark.
Rosemary and Choo will face Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley next Tuesday on WWE NXT.
Meanwhile, Tony D’Angelo paid off a mystery opponent to challenge Oba Femi for the NXT North American Championship and it was none other than TNA Wrestling’s Hammerstone! Hammerstone brought the fight to Femi but when the dust settled from this hard-hitting encounter, it was Femi who reigned supreme. Now Hammerstone must turn his attention towards Steve Maclin as the two face off on TNA iMPACT! this Thursday.
After the Rascalz pulled out of their scheduled NXT Tag Team Championship match, Wes Lee interrupted Vic Joseph on commentary and took credit for Trey Miguel being unable to compete. Lee would then lay out a challenge to his former friend, Zachary Wentz. Wes Lee vows to end Zachary Wentz in a Street Fight when NXT heads to Chicago!
