Ricky Saints continues to shine as an NXT Superstar as he defeated Lexis King to remain the NXT North American Champion.
King was impressive as he used his combination of strength, agility and mat skills to keep Saints off-balance, but the NXT Universe refused to let the champion stay down.
Saints rallied in a major way and after countering a Coronation, he nailed Roshambo to retain his title.
NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca def. Karmen Petrovic – Non-Title Match
It may have been a non-title match, but Sol Ruca competed as if her title was on the line.
Ruca’s first attempt at a Sol Snatcher was expertly countered by Petrovic, but it wasn’t long before the champion struck with that devastating move to win the match.
NXT Tag Team Champions Hank & Tank def. Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura
The NXT Tag Team Title remains with Hank & Tank after a barn-burner of a match against the team of Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura.
Briggs and Inamura showed up and showed out with their near-perfect tandem offense, but Hank Walker and Tank Ledger dug deep and found a way out of every near fall.
One mistake by Inamura allowed Hank & Tank to isolate and pin Briggs, delivering them their first win as NXT Tag Team Champs.
Women’s World Champion IYO SKY & Jordynne Grace def. Roxanne Perez & Giulia
The dream team of Women’s World Champion IYO SKY and Jordynne Grace took down Roxanne Perez and Giulia in a thrilling main event.
The Beautiful Madness and The Prodigy had a lot of chemistry as a team, using underhanded tactics to compliment their incredible wrestling skills to keep The Juggernaut down.
Giulia and Grace brawled their way to the outside leaving Perez and SKY in the ring, and it was The Genius of The Sky that stood tall as she hit a Moon Over Moonsault to win the match for her team.
