The former Universal Champion — and potential future WWE Champion — broke out The Texas Rattlesnake’s legendary finishing maneuver in the main event of SmackDown LIVE, using it to notch a pinfall on Daniel Bryan en route to their title bout at WWE Fastlane. Owens has hit the move before but never beat anybody with it, which prompted this tongue-in-cheek tweet for which Austin delivered a seal of approval. “When executed properly,” he wrote on Twitter, “the results are complete devastation.”
