The NXT Championship will be on the line when Trick Williams challenges Ilja Dragunov for NXT’s greatest prize.
Williams came up short in his last attempt at the NXT Title, only to be attacked by his now former friend Carmelo Hayes after the match.
After victories against Hayes in the Stand & Deliver main event and a Steel Cage Match on NXT, Williams now refocuses on The Mad Dragon and the NXT Title.
Dragunov has enjoyed a lengthy run as champion, most recently defeating Tony D’Angelo at Stand & Deliver in a hard-fought match.
The stakes were raised that much more when Trick Willy agreed to leave NXT if he doesn’t capture the title.
