NXT North American Champion Oba Femi will find out who will challenge him at NXT Battleground when Wes Lee, Joe Coffey, and Josh Briggs duke it out in a huge Triple Threat Match.
Lee, fresh off his return after a career-threatening injury, defeated Briggs in his first match back and is looking to regain the title he sent to new heights.
Briggs is looking for another chance at the NXT North American Title, having come up short at NXT Stand & Deliver in the clattering Triple Threat Match against Femi and Dijak that Femi won. Briggs has never beaten either Lee or Coffey, however.
Along with his Gallus teammates, Coffey returned to NXT last week and attacked Lee, Briggs and Ivar, ultimately replacing the Viking Warrior after he sustained an injury in the heinous attack.
