As revealed by Director of Authority Santino Marella on the TNA+ Sneak Peek of next Thursday’s iMPACT!, Joe Hendry will receive his rematch for the TNA World Championship when TNA’s summer pay-per-view extravaganza, Slammiversary, takes over Long Island, New York on July 20.
At WWE Battleground, the wrestling world was rocked as NXT’s Trick Williams dethroned Hendry to become the new TNA World Champion, making history as the first WWE Superstar to capture a TNA Championship.
This Tuesday on NXT, Trick Williams will defend the TNA World Title against Josh Briggs.
