The world’s first immortal rock star is turning up the volume.
AMC Networks has announced that “The Vampire Lestat,” the highly anticipated next chapter in the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, will premiere Sunday, June 7 on AMC and AMC+.
Alongside the announcement, the network also released the second official rock single from the series, “All Fall Down,” now available on major digital music platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.
The song arrives with the show’s newly unveiled opening title sequence, giving fans an early taste of the musical direction of the upcoming season.
Lestat Takes Center Stage as an Immortal Rockstar
In the new season, Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) fully embraces his persona as an immortal rock icon.
The story follows Lestat and his band as they embark on an electrifying multi-city tour while he wrestles with memories and “muses” from his rebellious past. As his fame grows, so does his influence over both humans and vampires — especially as the mysterious Great Conversion sparks an unnatural surge in the global vampire population.
Returning cast members include:
- Sam Reid
- Jacob Anderson
- Assad Zaman
- Eric Bogosian
- Delainey Hayles
- Jennifer Ehle
The series is executive produced by Mark Johnson, with Rolin Jones serving as creator, writer, and showrunner alongside Hannah Moscovitch, Christopher Rice, and the late Anne Rice.
Composer Daniel Hart Brings 70s Rock Influence to Lestat’s Sound
Series composer Daniel Hart wrote the music and lyrics for “All Fall Down,” which he describes as an early-era song for Lestat’s band.
“‘All Fall Down’ is both the title track for the new season and an idea for a song by the Vampire Lestat from early in the band’s life,” Hart said.
Hart explained the song draws heavy inspiration from 1970s glam and rock icons like David Bowie and T. Rex, blending blues influence with cosmic rock energy.
The track captures what Hart describes as a rawer, more rebellious version of Lestat, as the character continues exploring different musical personas.
Lestat Weighs In
The vampire himself even offered his own commentary on the track in true Lestat fashion.
“‘All Fall Down’ is mercifully only 68 seconds long,” Lestat joked. “That’s 54 seconds more Daniel Hart than anyone should suffer. I like the harmonies on the chorus. I did those.”
Expanding the Anne Rice Immortal Universe

“The Vampire Lestat” continues AMC’s expanding Anne Rice Immortal Universe, following the success of Interview with the Vampire.
Season three places music at the center of the story, with Hart writing more than twenty original songs for Lestat to perform throughout the season.
With its blend of gothic storytelling, rock spectacle, and supernatural intrigue, the upcoming season promises to deliver one of the boldest evolutions yet for the franchise.
“The Vampire Lestat” premieres Sunday, June 7 on AMC and AMC+.
