The Beginning of the End for The Boys
Season Five raises the stakes higher than ever as the world becomes increasingly dominated by Homelander’s unchecked power.
The trailer sets the stage for a final confrontation between The Boys and the supes as the series heads toward its conclusion.

According to the official synopsis, the world has effectively become Homelander’s playground, with the unstable supe operating without meaningful opposition.
Meanwhile, Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie find themselves imprisoned inside a “Freedom Camp,” leaving Annie January scrambling to organize resistance against the overwhelming supe-controlled power structure. Kimiko has disappeared, and the team appears fractured at the worst possible moment.
Butcher’s Return Could Change Everything
The turning point of the season arrives when Billy Butcher resurfaces with a plan that could reshape the world forever.
Butcher brings with him a devastating weapon — a virus capable of wiping every supe off the planet. His return sets off a chain of events that forces allies and enemies alike to confront the ultimate question: how far are they willing to go to stop Homelander.

The final season promises to bring together the show’s iconic characters for one last confrontation, as the long-running conflict between the corrupt supe system and those determined to expose it reaches its breaking point.
A Global Phenomenon Reaches Its Finale
Since debuting in 2019, The Boys has become one of Prime Video’s most successful original series. Known for its brutal satire of superhero culture and unfiltered storytelling, the show has built a massive global audience while earning multiple Emmy nominations.
The series is based on the New York Times best-selling comic book series created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
Showrunner Eric Kripke developed the television adaptation and continues to serve as executive producer alongside Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia and several other longtime collaborators.
The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, in association with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film and Point Grey Pictures.
Season Five premieres April 8, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video, with new episodes releasing weekly until the final chapter airs on May 20, 2026.
More updates and additional footage are expected as the show approaches its final run
