Synopsis:
Following SHE CAME FROM THE WOODS’ special showing at Popcorn Frights last summer, the Bloomquist Brothers are back at it, bringing their fourth horror feature to the festival with FOUNDERS DAY, a bold political slasher set in a small town suddenly shaken by a series of ominous killings in the days leading up to a heated mayoral election. As accusations fly and the threat of a masked killer darkens every street corner, the residents must race to uncover the truth before fear consumes the town. Starring Devin Druid and Amy Hargreaves from ’13 Reasons Why’, this clever whodunnit slasher serves up a whole new entry point into the genre, bringing mischief-laden, blood-soaked mystery to life.
