Synopsis:
ON THE RUN follows KAYLA and PAIGE JONES — sisters who have total opposite personalities. Kayla wants to be a teacher like her caring mom, LAURIE, while Paige wants to get the fuck out of their dreary desert town and find her own path. But when their father RICK’S past catches up to him and their mother is murdered, the sisters discover they are in Witness Protection — and have been ever since Rick betrayed the president of his Motorcycle club, The Inferno Risers, and testified against VINCE in court, putting him behind bars. Now that he is out of prison sixteen years later, Vince is seeking vengeance on Rick and his family for betraying him and the club. With no one else to trust, Kayla and Paige have no choice but to go on the run with their father across the baron and harsh landscape of the American Southwest, ending in New Mexico.
Traci Hays Bio
Traci Hays is a DGA Award-nominated director. Growing up the oldest of four in San Jose, California, Traci struggled to read until the age of ten due to her dyslexia. Instead of reading books, she would look at the pictures to put the story together. This laid the foundation for her exploration in creativity and upon turning sixteen, she enrolled in her local junior college’s only film class where she wrote and directed her first film on 16mm.
