DETE MESERVE
Dete Meserve is an award-winning creator and producer of successful films and television series as well as a best-selling novelist. In television, Meserve has been a productive executive on series such as Home Improvement and served as Executive Producer on Saint George with George Lopez for Lionsgate. Her film credits include producing hits Good Sam, Bernie, What Men Want, among others. In children’s media, she produced the animated feature Space Camp for Dream Works and serves as Executive Producer for Not a Box, the upcoming animated series for Apple TV+ based on the bestselling and award-winning children’s picture book written and illustrated by Antoinette Portis. She is also the Executive Producer and Showrunner of Weather Hunters, a STEM-focused series in collaboration with Al Roker Entertainment and PBS KIDS, premiering July 7, 2025. This marks her second STEM series, following her role as Executive Producer and Owner of Ready Jet Go!, an astronomy and earth science show on PBS KIDS and in 120 countries. As an author, Meserve has written four bestselling, award-winning novels: Good Sam-adapted into a Netflix film she wrote and produced Perfectly Good Crime, The Good Stranger, and The Space Between. Her non-fiction book Random Acts of Kindness is in development as a feature film, and her next novel, The Memory Collectors, will be published through Penguin Random House on May 20, 2025.
MICHAEL RABB
Michael Rabb is an Emmy-winning writer and producer with nearly 20 years of experience in animated and live-action television. He has written for beloved preschool and family series including Barney’s World (Netflix), Chuggington (BBC/Disney Junior), Pinkalicious & Peterrific (PBS Kids), Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood (PBS Kids), Shimmer and Shine (Nickelodeon), Eva the Owlet and Pretzel and the Puppies (Apple TV+). In 2020, he received the Environmental Media Award for an animated episode highlighting the benefits of solar energy. He also earned a Media Access Award for his work on Handy Manny (Disney Junior). Most recently, Michael served as Co-Executive Producer and Head Writer on an upcoming animated series for Apple TV+, premiering in 2025. Known for his warm, witty, and emotionally resonant storytelling, he continues to develop original content that connects with young audiences and their families.
