We sit down with Matt Hubbard, co-creator and executive producer of Loot, to talk about Season 3, the direction of Molly Wells’ journey, and the evolving world of The Wells Foundation as the acclaimed Apple TV+ comedy returns.
As a reminder, the third season debuted with two episodes on Wednesday, October 15, with episode three premiering tomorrow and new episodes arriving every Wednesday through December 10 on Apple TV+.
About Loot Season 3
In Loot, Molly Wells (Maya Rudolph) continues her journey of self-discovery after receiving an $87 billion divorce settlement from her tech-billionaire ex-husband John Novak (Adam Scott). Now thriving as the head of her philanthropic organization — The Wells Foundation — Molly begins Season 3 literally taking flight, after the Season 2 finale saw her and assistant Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster) boarding her private jet to escape blowback from fellow billionaires and an awkward moment with Arthur (Nat Faxon).
This season follows Molly and the Wells Foundation team as they work to fulfill her promise to give away her entire fortune. Returning cast includes Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Nat Faxon, Ron Funches, and Joel Kim Booster. Season 3 will also feature special guest stars including Stephanie Styles, Adam Scott, D’Arcy Carden, Kesha, Zane Phillips, Henry Winkler, X Mayo, Paula Pell, and more.
Loot is created and executive produced by Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang, alongside Maya Rudolph, Danielle Renfrew Behrens, Dave Becky, Dean Holland, and Natasha Lyonne. Hubbard serves as showrunner for Season 3. The series is produced for Apple by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
