Synopsis:
“The Anonymous” is a strategic competition played in two worlds, the real world and anonymous mode. The Digital Anonymous Networking Interface, or “DANI” for short, has invited 12 players to live in her domain and work side-by-side to raise a prize fund of up to $100,000. Despite their close quarters, all players will have their own private underground hideouts, where each is completely anonymous and can say anything and everything behind the mask of a unique handle. In their hideouts, players can provide raw, unfiltered takes on their fellow contestants. They will scheme, connive and deceive to build influence and advance their game. The question is: Can they stay anonymous while doing so, or will the other players guess their identity?
ABOUT WAYNE NICHOLS
A proud father of two who’s very outgoing, few people would suspect Wayne Nichols is actually a retired police detective from Henderson, Nev. After leaving his childhood home at 16, Wayne worked several jobs simultaneously to make it on his own. He met his wife, who is also in law enforcement, and they’ve been together for more than 20 years. When he was a detective, Wayne spent most of his career specializing in cybercrimes. He became an expert in pretending to be someone he wasn’t online. He also conducted hundreds of interrogations and interviews with the innocent and guilty alike and became skilled at putting people at ease to get to the truth. In this competition, Wayne aims to be the wide-eyed, stereotypical dad when face-to-face, but he’ll tap into his more strategic, detective persona while in anonymous mode. With years of assuming different identities under his belt, Wayne knows he will be able to impersonate anyone and everyone.
