Fresh off her return to Ring of Honor, “The First Lady of ROH” Maria Kanellis Bennett is the guest on the latest episode of “The ROHStrong Podcast.”
During her appearance on the podcast, which drops Monday morning on ROHWrestling.com and most podcast platforms, Kanellis Bennett discussed The Experience, ROH’s groundbreaking new fan engagement initiative that she is at the forefront of.
She said it’s all about the fans having a forum to express their opinions and the company giving them what they want.
“Now we can give [the fans] a new experience, and that is to give them a choice,” Kanellis Bennett said. “For them to choose their Honor, to choose their favorites, and to put on matches that they’re really going to enjoy. And a lot of people have said this before. You hear it over and over again: ‘Oh, we’re going to do this new thing and we’re going to include what the fans really want.’ A lot of times it falls flat and it falls short.
“I am going to do my very best to get the fans’ voices out there, because I know what it’s like to not be heard and to be told what you really want, and I don’t want that for the fans and I don’t want that for the wrestlers either.”
