Marvel Television kicked off its portion of the showcase with VisionQuest, the upcoming Disney+ series premiering October 14, 2026.
Paul Bettany took the stage alongside James Spader and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige to present the first trailer for the series. His quiet existence is disrupted when a bounty is placed on him, pushing him onto the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be connected to Vision in a major way.

Avengers: Doomsday Brings the Multiverse Collision Closer
The biggest theatrical moment of Marvel’s D23 presentation came with Avengers: Doomsday, which arrives in theaters on December 18, 2026.
Feige was joined on stage by Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Hayley Atwell to unveil a special look at the film. Downey returns to the MCU in a major new role as Victor von Doom / Doctor Doom, while Evans and Atwell’s appearance added even more excitement to a project already loaded with legacy weight.

Marvel Studios ended its showcase on one of the biggest announcements fans had been waiting for: the official cast reveal for the MCU’s new X-Men film.
The untitled X-Men reboot is set to arrive in theaters on May 5, 2028, launching Phase 7 and marking the clearest step yet toward a full mutant era inside the MCU. Jake Schreier, who directed Thunderbolts, is attached to direct.
The cast reveal was a major moment. Sadie Sink will play Jean Grey, Kit Connor will play Scott Summers / Cyclops, Christopher Abbott will play Charles Xavier / Professor X, Samara Weaving will play Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette will play Rogue, and Maya Boyd will play Storm.
