Disney Entertainment Television is bringing two of its fan-favorite activations back to San Diego Comic-Con 2026, with the return of Hulu Animayhem and a new Percy Jackson and the Olympians experience.
Known for delivering some of the most popular off-site activations during the convention, Disney Entertainment Television is once again giving fans a chance to step directly into the worlds of its biggest franchises. This year’s lineup includes the Hulu Animayhem: Fandom Fuel Up, centered around Futurama and King of the Hill, along with a titan-sized Percy Jackson adventure teasing what is ahead in Season 3.
Hulu Animayhem Fuels Up the Gaslamp Quarter
Hulu is bringing Animayhem back to Comic-Con with a new immersive experience titled Hulu Animayhem: Fandom Fuel Up.
Located at Palm Trees Garden in the Gaslamp Quarter, the activation will bring fans into the animated worlds of Futurama and King of the Hill through themed environments, character-inspired photo opportunities, food and beverage offerings, hidden Easter eggs, and on-site goodies.
The activation will feature the return of the iconic Planet Express, alongside Bobby Hill’s Robata Chane venture. Fans can expect themed offerings like Fry’s 100 Days of Cold Brew and Robata Chane-inspired yakitori, making the experience feel like a true fandom pit stop in the middle of the Comic-Con rush.
That is what makes Hulu Animayhem such a smart fit for SDCC. Percy Jackson Returns with a Titan-Sized Adventure
Disney’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians will also return to San Diego with a new interactive experience located at the corner of 5th and L Street, near the main entrance to the Gaslamp Quarter.
This year, fans will step inside a titan-sized trident and embark on a journey inspired by the story to come in Season 3. Guests will be able to choose their own adventure by following a path tied to Percy, Annabeth, or Thalia as they take on a quest to defeat the evil Titans.
The activation will include hidden Season 3 Easter eggs, prophecy-led clues, on-site photo moments, and exclusive Camp Half-Blood takeaways.
For a series like Percy Jackson, this kind of off-site experience is exactly what fans want. The world is built around quests, clues, mythology, symbols, and identity, which makes it naturally suited for an interactive Comic-Con activation. Giving guests the chance to choose a character journey also helps the experience feel more personal, especially for fans who already see themselves in the heroes of Camp Half-Blood.
