Magic: The Gathering is bringing one of animation’s most iconic characters into the Multiverse. Wizards of the Coast has officially announced Secret Lair x Felix the Cat: Magic Bag of Tricks, a brand-new collaboration arriving as part of the upcoming Cats Are the Best Superdrop on June 15.
The crossover combines the surreal, whimsical world of Felix the Cat with Secret Lair’s signature artistic experimentation, creating a collectible drop that celebrates more than a century of one of animation’s most beloved characters.
Felix the Cat first appeared in 1919 and remains one of the most recognizable figures in animation history. From his classic silent-film adventures to the famous Magic Bag of Tricks that became synonymous with the character, Felix has entertained generations of fans across film, television, fashion, and pop culture.
According to Secret Lair Senior Director Lindsey Bartell, Felix’s long-standing connection to surrealism made him a natural fit for Secret Lair’s creative vision.
“Felix the Cat is iconic with a rich history of surrealism that is the perfect metaphor for how we evolve visual boundaries for Magic through Secret Lair,” said Bartell. “So naturally we would want him to be a part of the Cats Are the Best Superdrop.”

The limited-edition drop features five cards reimagined through the lens of Felix the Cat’s playful and unpredictable world:

- Time Stretch
- Feral Felix
- Throes of Chaos
- Mind’s Eye
The collection will be available in two versions:
- Non-Foil Edition: $29.99
- Foil Edition: $39.99

Secret Lair x Felix the Cat: Magic Bag of Tricks will become available beginning June 15 at 9:00 a.m. PT through the Secret Lair storefront as part of the larger Cats Are the Best Superdrop.
Fans looking to expand their collection can also take advantage of an additional promotion. Customers who spend $199 or more in a single transaction will receive a Foil Food Token promotional card, while supplies last. Wizards of the Coast also notes that orders over $99 from its North American store qualify for free shipping within the United States.
