If you love a good heist movie, mark your calendar for the end of July. Vertical just picked up the North American rights to the new crime thriller, “The Gentleman Thief,” and it’s packing a wildly bizarre (complimentary) ensemble cast.

The movie stars John Travolta as Mason Goddard, a master thief who gets pulled out of retirement for one last job: stealing a priceless painting at an international art auction. Naturally, things go sideways. Mason walks straight into a deadly trap set by a vengeful crime boss, and he has to pull off the craziest heist of his life to save himself and his crew. To make things even more stressful, there’s a chance at true love on the line, if only he can actually make it to the getaway car alive.

Alongside Travolta, the cast features Lukas Haas (“The Revenant”) and Rebecca De Mornay (“The Hand That Rocks The Cradle”), plus some unexpected star power with Sam Asghari (“Jackpot!”), Quavo, and DJ Khaled.
Producer Randall Emmett shared that they are hyped to team up with Vertical to get the film out to audiences, promising a great ride with a fantastic cast:
We think audiences will have a great experience seeing John Travolta and this wonderful ensemble cast bring the story to life.

You won’t have to wait long to see it. “The Gentleman Thief” hits digital platforms and VOD on July 28, followed by a limited theatrical release on July 31.
