Earlier this week the Bianca Belair And Sasha Banks match For the Women’s SmackDown Championship that was set to take place at SummerSlam was still in question. There were rumblings around the company that there was a chance that the match would not go on as scheduled and the reason for this at the time was not known. It was reported that over the past weekend that both Belair and Banks were pulled from two house shows.
It is being reported today that the match is scheduled to go on as planned. WWE still hasn’t provided a reason for the absence of both superstars but is insisting it’s a go.
According to a report from PW Insider, Sasha Banks And Bianca Belair are still going to have their match at SummerSlam. They will be cleared to perform on the August 21st show after missing last weekend’s house shows.
For those wondering about the status of Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair after they missed this past weekend, WWE live events in the Carolinas, PwInsider.com has been told they are”cleared” to perform and barring “something unforeseen” will be at Friday night SmackDown and SummerSlam this coming weekend.
