This past Thursday night on IMPACT Wrestling the Stars were ready for action as we get closer and closer to Slammiversary on Sunday, July 22nd in Toronto. This coming Thursday night on IMPACT, Brian Cage challenges Matt Sydal for the X-Division Championship. Last week Cage was in action against Rohit Raju and Cage looked as dominate as ever!
The World Tag Team Champions Z&E defended their titles against the high-flying duo from Lucha Underground, Aerostar and Drago. Andrew Everett and DJZ were able to show the world they are worthy of the World Tag Team Titles by securing the victory!
Eli Drake brought The Fact of Life back to IMPACT Wrestling. It was once known as the most controversial talk show in history and that continued on Thursday. Eli Drake named his Top Dummies in IMPACT Wrestling and on that list was no other than Moose. This Thursday on IMPACT it will be Moose vs. Eli Drake and the stakes couldn’t be higher. The winner will go on to Slammiversary to challenge for the World Title against Austin Aries!
After Eli got the jump on Moose, what will happen this Thursday night?
With King back on IMPACT and calling the shots for LAX, all seems right in the Clubhouse. Perhaps Diamante is just being over protective, but LAX found success on IMPACT against the Cult of Lee.
Also due to the graphic nature of the Fight in the Woods between Eddie Edwards and Sami Callihan and the violence associated with that match, our Photographer didn’t feel it was safe to travel to the battlefield.
