NXT’s latest call up is getting high marks from WWE management.
Damian Priest is finally on Raw after a stalled call up and it seems big things have always been planned for him. There was a big feud for him set on SmackDown, but plans changed and it launched him into bigger things as he’s now on Raw heading towards a featured match at WrestleMania with Bad Bunny as his partner. Now Fightful has reported he’s impressed the right people and making the right impressions since his arrival on the main roster.
If you couldn’t tell, Damian Priest made a positive impression in WWE the past three weeks. High level sources that Fightful spoke with said that Damian Priest was extremely well liked and turned heads both during his Royal Rumble appearance, as well as his WWE Raw debut. One WWE employee said that Priest was given a full plate across both nights and did everything they could have expected from him after being thrown into the deep end.
Priest is well on track for big things and he’s handling it well. The former Punishment Martinez has done a great job impressing the proper people needed to turn one big thing into another one. So far in a sink or swim environment like the main roster, Priest is swimming.
