This past Thursday night was lit. IMPACT Wrestling once again nearly blew the roof off of St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. We saw the return of DeAngelo Williams, who was promptly interrupted by World Champion Austin Aries. Aries delivered a stiff message to his Slammiversary opponent Moose. The “Belt Collector” sent DeAngelo Williams packing with a low blow. That is where we start this week with our IMPACT Ringside Images!
We also the IMPACT debut of a female athlete that comes to IMPACT through our partnership with RISE. Shotzi Blackheart impressed IMPACT Officials and nearly defeated 2x Knockouts Champion Allie in what was an incredible match! After the match was over, Tessa Blanchard attacked Allie. We also found out that at Slammiversary it will be Tessa vs. Allie!
The night began with the OGZ lead by King in action as Homicide and Hernandez made quick work out of their opponents. King then issued a statement that at Slammiversary it will be the OGz vs. LAX in a 5150 Street Fight for the World Tag Team Titles!
How about a thrilling 6 man tag team match that had Slammiversary implications. oVe and Sami Callihan vs. Pentagon Jr., Fenix and Rich Swann in a match that people were buzzing about all weekend long.
We also witnessed Grado go one on one with Eli Drake and Grado had his entourage with him in girlfriend Katarina and his good friend, Joe Hendry.
