Steve Cutler caught COVID-19, caught heat with Vince McMahon, and caught himself a future endeavor notice from the WWE. It was said Cutler, along with girlfriend Deonna Purrazzo, caught COVID-19 at a New Year’s Eve party, and now we know who threw the party.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green hosted the party, and several other wrestlers were in attendance.
The two were at a New Year’s Eve party at the home of Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green, but there were tons of wrestlers who were at that party and you can go through social media and see were at New Year’s Eve parties and we know of many at Super Bowl parties.
While WWE has never fired anyone over catching COVID-19 until releasing Cutler, it may have been easier to make a less essential guy the sacrificial lamb after making promises to certain top stars they would maintain a healthy and safe work environment. Unfortunately, Cutler may have been the guy they had to throw under the bus, and it’s left several others without creative plans. Of course, the situation becomes even cloudier knowing the person who threw the party is on the WWE roster.
