It was only a few months ago that Flamita and Rey Horus were co-holders of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship along with Bandido.
However, during the match in which the trio lost the title in March, Flamita underwent a transformation and turned his back on his teammates. Since then he has fully embraced his dark side, adopting the moniker of Demonic Flamita.
Horus has made it clear that there will be hell to pay for Demonic Flamita’s betrayal and subsequent actions. He’ll get his opportunity to gain a measure of revenge when the former friends face off at Best in the World on July 11 in Baltimore.
The grudge match will take place on Best in the World Hour One, which airs free on multiple platforms.
In their previous meeting last month, Demonic Flamita used questionable tactics to beat Horus in a Survival of the Fittest qualifying match.
In the SOTF six-way elimination final, Demonic Flamita brutally attacked Bandido with a chair after Bandido eliminated him. Horus came out to prevent Demonic Flamita from doing further damage.
