One night after winning the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match, Becky Lynch made a surprise appearance on Raw to confront Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and announce that she had chosen “Ronnie” as her WrestleMania opponent. Furthermore, she vowed to break Rousey’s “mystique” and take her title in front of the entire world. In response, the incensed Rowdy One promised to “own” The Man at WrestleMania. But as fired-up as Rousey got, Lynch kept her cool — even smirking — in the face of one of the most dangerous women in the history of combat sports.
Now, The Irish Lass Kicker might not be 100 percent after injuring her left knee during the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, but one might argue that she’s garnering a psychological edge over Rousey.
