Matt Taven was outnumbered in his violent feud with Vincent, who always had his Righteous acolytes Bateman and Vita VonStarr lurking. Taven needed someone to watch his back, someone he could trust implicitly.
Cue Mike Bennett’s music.
Bennett made his dramatic return to ROH on a November episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” after a five-year absence to save Taven from a post-match attack by Vincent and Bateman. Bennett and Taven cleared the ring and then embraced as a stunned Vincent and Bateman looked on from the aisle.
Afterward, Bennett made it clear that he is back in ROH to stay and The Kingdom — rechristened as The OGK — is together again.
