Last week, Zoey Stark provided some much-needed backup for Io Shirai against The Way. Tonight, they’ll officially team up against Aliyah & Jessi Kamea of The Robert Stone Brand.
Shirai returned earlier this month and immediately went to war with long-time rival Candice LeRae. LeRae sought to make The Genius of the Sky pay last week with a two-on-one assault alongside fellow NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Indi Hartwell.
But the cavalry arrived in the form of Stark, who has teamed up with Shirai in the past, and together they fought off the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Meanwhile, The Robert Stone Brand have coveted those titles for some time now and are surely looking to take a step closer toward a potential opportunity. Can they take down Shirai & Stark?
